This session provides an overview of fair housing and landlord-tenant law. The fair housing component covers: the Fair Housing Act, reasonable accommodations or modifications in housing and current issues in fair housing. The landlord-tenant component covers: application denials, the eviction process, security deposit returns and repair concerns. Participants should walk away from this session with a general understanding of both areas of law and are encouraged to ask questions and answer hypothetical questions throughout it.
