Street Medicine is a growing international movement to bring healthcare directly to people who are unsheltered homeless through a person-centered approach to overcome socioeconomic barriers to care and meet the unique needs of each patient. The Spartan Street Medicine (SSM) team works with Lansing community partners to bring medical services directly to people who are experiencing homelessness and connects them with primary care. This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about Street Medicine and efforts to bring this practice to Michigan communities.
